Ten K

My best friend, Sybil, entered us in a 10 k for one of her dumb causes, but of course I didn't tell her that's what I thought when she said she'd entered us. Instead I said "Yipee." Then I went home and got out a dictionary. For those of you who are metrically challenged--like me--a ten K is 6.2 miles. When I read this I really, really wanted to go over to her house and beat her up. Then I remembered she's my best friend. *Sigh.* The 10 k is in July. We're supposed to start training in a few days. Yeah, right! I need a cup cake.

I WANT CANDY

Yesterday I found a bag of candy corn left over from Easter. I wound up eating the whole thing. I LOVE candy. So sue me.
